The Foundation

The Overlook Estate Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of the natural world. The Foundation was established through the generosity of Frances Acker Fuller and is the result of her determination to recognize and honor the lifelong enthusiasm of her husband, Mortimer B. Fuller, Jr. for the out-of-doors in general and for the animal world in particular.

The purpose of the foundation is to encourage, promote and support cultural activities and events in the community, especially those which introduce, educate and advocate for increased awareness and responsibility for the conservation and preservation of the beauty and integrity of our heritage.

The Foundation has made grants and donations totalling about $300,000 over six years. Most grants are less than $3,000 but we have responded in rare cases to larger requests.
